Feature

Sell digital downloads

Ebooks, printables, Notion templates, Lightroom presets, file packs. If it is a file buyers can download, Quickshops is built for it.

Quickshops is built for creators who sell files, not physical inventory or hosted video courses. You upload a digital product, set a price, and share a link to your branded storefront. When a buyer pays through Stripe, the download unlocks automatically. You keep your Stripe account, your payouts, and control over how your shop looks.

This is a good fit if you already have an audience on Instagram, YouTube, or an email list and want to stop sending files manually after every sale. It is not a marketplace that finds buyers for you, and it is not an LMS with lesson hosting.

Files, not courses

Digital delivery after purchase. We are not an LMS or lesson platform.

Your Stripe account

You own checkout and payouts. Quickshops is not Merchant of Record.

What you can sell

Any file-based product you deliver after payment.

Quickshops supports one-time digital products: a file the buyer downloads after checkout. That includes PDF ebooks and guides, printable planners and wall art, Notion template packs, Lightroom preset bundles, icon sets, audio samples, and general ZIP archives.

Ebooks and long-form guides

Sell PDF playbooks, worksheets, and how-to guides. Buyers get a secure download link immediately after payment. You do not need to attach files to emails manually.

Printables

Planners, calendars, wall art, and worksheets work well when your audience already follows you on Pinterest or Instagram. Price them as impulse buys and deliver as PDF or PNG.

Templates and presets

Notion sellers, photographers, and designers often ship ZIP files or duplicate links. Group related assets into a single product page with clear copy about what is inside the pack.

How setup works

Most sellers connect Stripe and publish a first product in one sitting.

Getting live is straightforward. You connect Stripe once, upload your file, write product copy, and publish your storefront. There is no theme coding required, though you can customize layout and colors in the visual editor.

  1. Connect Stripe. Complete Stripe Connect onboarding from the Quickshops dashboard. Payouts follow your Stripe schedule and land in your bank account.
  2. Upload your file. Add the PDF, ZIP, or preset pack, set the price, and write a short description buyers can scan on mobile.
  3. Customize your storefront. Adjust hero copy, colors, and product layout. Pro unlocks a custom domain so buyers see yourbrand.com instead of a shared subdomain.
  4. Share your store link. Send traffic from your bio, newsletter, or ads. Checkout runs on Stripe; delivery happens automatically when payment succeeds.

Checkout and delivery

How buyers pay and receive files.

Buyers land on your product page, click checkout, and pay through Stripe on your connected account. Card data never touches Quickshops servers. When Stripe confirms payment, Quickshops unlocks a secure download for the buyer and sends a receipt.

You are merchant of record in Stripe. That means you own the relationship with Stripe for payouts, disputes, and reporting. Quickshops focuses on storefront UX, file delivery, and seller tooling—not holding your revenue as a middleman.

What you get

Beyond file hosting, Quickshops gives you a storefront, Stripe-native checkout, and ops tools so you can run a real shop instead of a single checkout link.

Instant delivery

Buyers receive a secure download after checkout. You do not email files by hand or manage expiring Dropbox links for every order.

Stripe-native checkout

Payments run through your Stripe account. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cards are handled by Stripe Checkout. See payment processing for fee details.

Update from chat

On Pro, change prices or hero copy from the dashboard or Telegram. The agent drafts a structured proposal; nothing publishes until you approve. Same guardrails as AI store chat.

Fair platform fees

Free plan: 5% Quickshops platform fee on sales. Pro (€19/mo): 0% platform fee—you pay the subscription plus Stripe processing only. Stripe rates depend on your country.

Fee example at $2,000/month

Platform fees compound as revenue grows.

Say you do $2,000 in sales per month with an average order around $20. On Gumroad direct sales, their pricing page lists 10% plus $0.50 per transaction—roughly $200 in percentage fees plus about $50 in per-sale cents before you count anything else.

On Quickshops Pro, you pay €19 per month with 0% platform fee on sales. Stripe card processing still applies (often around 2.9% plus a fixed cent amount). Exact numbers depend on your average order size, country, and whether buyers use wallets vs cards.

Run your own math at your volume before switching. The comparison below is illustrative, not a guarantee of savings in every case.

Scenario

$2,000 / month

Assumes ~100 orders at $20 average. Stripe rates vary by country.

Gumroad direct sales

~$250

Platform fees only (10% + $0.50/sale per their pricing page). Stripe processing not included — Gumroad is MoR.

Quickshops Pro

~$107

€19/mo subscription (0% platform fee) plus estimated Stripe card processing (~2.9% + 30¢).

~$231 less in platform fees vs Gumroad

When Quickshops is not right

Quickshops is honest about tradeoffs. Pick a different tool if your primary need is outside file-based digital sales.

  • You need hosted video courses with a student portal and progress tracking.
  • You want a marketplace to discover buyers for you, like Gumroad Discover.
  • You need a platform to act as Merchant of Record and remit VAT everywhere with zero tax setup on your side.
  • Physical inventory, shipping labels, and warehouse ops are your main business.

For tax-heavy global sales with minimal admin, MoR platforms may win on paperwork. For sellers who already drive traffic and want lower platform fees, owning Stripe plus 0% on Pro often wins on math. See VAT and taxes for the MoR tradeoff explained.

Stop managing your store. Start just chatting with it.

Describe the update in chat, approve the plan, and publish in minutes. Quickshops handles the store admin so you don't have to.
