These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Quickshops, our cloud-based platform for creating and managing online stores. By registering or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our cloud-based platform that allows you to create and manage your own online stores.

By registering or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. About Our Service

Quickshops provides software tools that enable you to build, customize, and manage your own independent online store. This includes storefront design, product management, order processing, and integrations with payment providers.

We act solely as a technology and software provider. We are not a party to any transaction between you and your customers. You are the sole seller and merchant of record for all sales made through your store.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you are at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering contracts, and operating in compliance with applicable laws. If you use the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, providing accurate information, and all activities that occur under your account.

5. Your Responsibilities as a Merchant

As the operator of your own store, you are fully and independently responsible for:

• The legality, quality, and accuracy of the products or services you offer
• Product descriptions, images, and pricing
• Setting and clearly displaying your own refund, return, and delivery policy
• Customer service and support
• Collecting, reporting, and paying all applicable taxes (including VAT)
• Complying with consumer protection, GDPR, and other relevant laws

You remain the legal seller in all transactions with your customers.

5.1 Digital Products

For digital products, you are strongly encouraged to clearly inform your customers before purchase that:

"This is a digital product with immediate delivery. By completing the purchase and starting the download or access, you consent to immediate performance and waive your 14-day right of withdrawal as permitted under EU consumer law."

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the platform to sell illegal, counterfeit, infringing, harmful, or prohibited products. You must not engage in fraudulent activity or mislead consumers.

7. Fees and Payment

1. Subscription fees are displayed on our Pricing page.
2. Subscriptions renew automatically.
3. Late or failed payments may result in suspension after notice.
4. Refund requests for Quickshops subscription fees should be sent to valtteri@quickshops.app.

8. Stripe and Payment Providers

When you connect your own Stripe account, you are fully responsible for all payment processing, chargebacks, refunds, and compliance with Stripe's terms. We only provide the technical integration.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to host and display it for the purpose of providing the service. All platform software and trademarks belong to Quickshops.

10. Data and Backups

You own your store data. We take reasonable security measures but recommend maintaining your own backups.

11. Third-Party Services

Integrations with third-party services (e.g. Stripe, shipping providers) are subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for serious violations of these Terms, Stripe rules, or applicable laws. You may cancel your subscription at any time.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the total fees you paid in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g. lost profits).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your products, your store content, or your breach of these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
