Straight answers about fees, Stripe, digital delivery, and who Quickshops is for.
Quickshops is an AI-powered operations layer for digital product sellers. Instead of logging into a dashboard to update your store, you describe what you want in chat and the agent drafts the change for your approval. Built for solo creators, sellers migrating from Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy, and small digital teams who want less admin, a branded storefront, Stripe-native checkout, and 0% platform fees on Pro.
You connect Stripe once. Checkout and payouts run through Stripe. The Free plan includes a 5% Quickshops platform fee; Pro removes that platform fee. Stripe processing fees, disputes, and refunds are handled under your Stripe account and are separate from the platform fee.
Quickshops is not a Merchant of Record. You sell as the merchant of record in Stripe, which means you remain responsible for tax registration, invoicing, and compliance decisions unless you adopt additional tooling (for example Stripe Tax) with your own setup.
In the EU, VAT on digital services generally follows the buyer's location, not yours. You should collect evidence of customer location and file according to your registrations. Quickshops can surface Stripe-powered tax tools if you enable them, but you should confirm the setup with your accountant.
Stripe Tax can automate tax calculation and collection when enabled on your Stripe account. Availability depends on your Stripe configuration and regions, verify inside Stripe before promising tax-inclusive pricing to customers.
Stripe is live on all plans. Telegram, MCP, and API keys are Pro features for teams that want Quickshops in their stack. WhatsApp and Slack are coming soon.
Traffic uses modern TLS, and card data never touches Quickshops servers, it stays in Stripe's PCI-scoped environment. Operational access to your store data is limited to what you authorize.
Yes. Upload PDFs, ZIPs, or other files, set a price, and buyers receive a download link after payment. See our guides on selling ebooks and printables in the resource hub.
Gumroad charges 10% + $0.50 per sale and acts as Merchant of Record. Quickshops uses your Stripe account, offers chat-based store ops, and Pro drops platform fees to 0% at €19/mo. Compare details on our Quickshops vs Gumroad page.
No. Quickshops is for digital file delivery (ebooks, templates, presets). If you need a full course platform with lessons and student areas, use a tool built for that.
