Quickshops MCP integration

Model Context Protocol exposes Quickshops tools to AI clients. The server is Streamable HTTP at mcp.quickshops.app/mcp. Auth is a bearer API key. Store mutations follow the same approve-before-publish flow as dashboard chat.

Setup

1. Get a Pro API key. Create a key in the dashboard. Keys are qk_… bearer tokens.
2. Add the MCP server. Use https://mcp.quickshops.app/mcp in Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
3. Authenticate. Send Authorization: Bearer qk_…
4. Review proposals. Treat MCP output like chat drafts. Publish only after you approve.

• Catalog-aware copy in Cursor while you ship a storefront
• Claude desktop store ops with store context loaded
• Agent workflows that must not silently publish

Limits

• MCP is Pro
• Not a replacement for the visual editor on first layout
