Lemon Squeezy charges 5% + $0.50 and acts as merchant of record. The higher cut pays for tax collection in many jurisdictions. That is the product. It is not a 0% storefront.

Quickshops is seller of record via Stripe Connect. Fees are Pro plus Stripe. VAT filing is yours or your accountant's, not bundled.
When to stay
Stay if you need MoR and will not handle VAT OSS or similar yourself.
When to switch
Switch if you already have a tax setup, want Stripe payouts in your name, or the 5% + $0.50 line exceeds Pro at your volume.
