Manage your store from Claude and Cursor

Quickshops now connects to Claude Desktop, Cursor, and ChatGPT. Update products and copy from the apps you already use. Available on Pro.

ValtteriFounder

You can now run your Quickshops store from the AI apps you already have open.

Ask Claude to review your products, rewrite a product description, or tweak your homepage copy. You stay in chat. Your store updates when you approve the change.

This is the same workflow you already know from AI Chat in the dashboard or Telegram on your phone: describe what you want, Quickshops drafts it, you confirm before anything publishes.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is how AI apps plug into real tools.

Think of it like adding an integration in Slack or Notion: you connect Quickshops once, and Claude or Cursor can see your store context when you ask for help. You do not paste product lists into the chat or export CSV files. The AI reads what it needs from Quickshops directly.

You do not need to understand the protocol itself. What matters is the outcome: your store becomes something you can talk to from the apps on your desktop, with the same draft-and-approve safety you get in the dashboard.

Anthropic, OpenAI, and other vendors support MCP so connectors work the same way across apps. Quickshops is one of those connectors, built for sellers who want store updates without another admin tab.

Why we built this

Most sellers we talk to do not lack a dashboard. They lack time to live inside it.

You are in Claude drafting a newsletter, or in Cursor fixing a landing page, and you remember one product description is wrong. Opening another tab, finding the product, editing, saving, and switching back breaks your flow.

MCP puts Quickshops where you already work. You ask in plain language. The store catches up when you are ready.

Who this is for

This launch is for sellers who:

  • Already use Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT during the day
  • Want to fix copy or products without a detour through the dashboard
  • Are on Pro and use (or plan to use) Telegram for the same reason

You do not need to write code. If you can add a connector in Claude and sign in with Google or email, you are set.

Who should skip it for now

If you prefer clicking through the dashboard, keep using AI Chat. It does the same job inside Quickshops. MCP is optional convenience, not a requirement to run your store.

What you can change

From chat you can work on the same things you would in the dashboard:

  • Product names, prices, and descriptions
  • Storefront text and theme styling
  • General store details

Big changes still go through your normal approval flow. Nothing publishes without you saying yes. If a draft looks wrong, ask for another version or reject it and try again.

Example prompts to try

Once connected, prompts like these work well:

  • "List my products and flag any descriptions under 50 words."
  • "Rewrite the homepage hero to sound more direct. Show me a draft before applying."
  • "Update the price on [product name] to €29 and keep the rest the same."

Start small for your first session. Get comfortable with the draft-and-approve rhythm before larger edits.

Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor

All three connect to the same Quickshops store.

Claude Desktop is the smoothest path: add the connector, click Connect, sign in.

ChatGPT follows the same sign-in flow.

Cursor takes a few more steps if you use it from the terminal. Our connecting guide covers each app separately so you can follow the one you actually use.

Pro plan

MCP, API keys, and Telegram are Pro features.

The Free plan still includes your storefront, Stripe checkout, and in-app AI Chat with a small monthly message allowance. Pro adds the integrations that meet you where you already work:

  • Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT via MCP
  • Telegram on your phone
  • API keys if you build custom storefront code
  • Custom domain

See pricing for the full comparison.

How to connect

  1. Upgrade to Pro if you are not already (Account → Billing)
  2. Open your AI app and add Quickshops as a connector
  3. Sign in when prompted with the same account you use for the dashboard

The connector URL and screenshots are in our setup guide:

Connect Claude or Cursor →

That page covers Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, and Cursor. Pick your app and follow the steps. Most people are connected in under five minutes.

Already on Pro?

If you connected during early testing, you may need to connect once more after this launch. Use the same guide above.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What MCP is, setup, pricing, and how this fits next to Telegram and dashboard chat.

What is MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard that lets AI apps like Claude and Cursor connect to outside services, including your Quickshops store. You add Quickshops as a connector once. After that, the AI can read your store and help you draft updates without you copying data back and forth.
What does connecting Claude actually let me do?
You can ask Claude to read your store and help you update products, descriptions, and storefront copy. Quickshops drafts the change. Nothing goes live until you approve it, same as AI Chat in the dashboard.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. In Claude Desktop you add Quickshops as a connector, click Connect, and sign in with your normal Quickshops account. Our setup guide walks through each click with screenshots.
Is this included on the Free plan?
No. MCP, API keys, and Telegram are Pro features. Upgrade under Account → Billing before you connect.
How is this different from Telegram?
Same idea, different device. Telegram is for quick edits from your phone. Claude and Cursor are for when you are already working on desktop. Both use chat instead of clicking through admin screens. Both require Pro.
How is this different from AI Chat in the dashboard?
Dashboard chat lives inside Quickshops. MCP lets you stay in Claude or Cursor while you work on other tasks. The approval flow and the kinds of changes you can make are the same.
Which apps are supported?
Claude Desktop and ChatGPT work with one-click sign in. Cursor has a few extra steps. See our connecting guide for the app you use.
Where are the setup instructions?
docs.quickshops.app/mcp/connecting has step-by-step instructions for Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, and Cursor.
I connected during early testing. Do I need to do anything?
You may need to connect once more after this launch. Follow the same setup guide. If something fails, email valtteri@quickshops.app and we will help.
